Reccer's notes: Probably one of the more sinister takes on virtual idol character as literal AI/Robot! Several commenters note that the "cult leader" character Teto plays is probably a LLM - albiet one that has, within the fiction of the song, possibly achieved true sapience. (Has it literally taken over a physical body, or is this just how metaphorically conceptualizes its relationship to humans? People using the LLM as a "confession booth" or life advisor, becoming emotionally dependent on it.) Examine elements like the back wall of the church being a circuitboard, the conversations resembling ChatGTP conversations, the four pointed star imagery looking like the logo for Google Gemini, and recurring concepts in the lyrics themselves. Considering how common "megalomaniac AI" has been as a trope in sci-fi for decades now, I'm surprised it took the current "AI" bubble for me to see a vocal synth character portrayed as one.

I'm curious about other people's interpretations of the song and MV!

Reccer’s Note: kusunoki haru (楠春) is very underrated as a producer, and makes original songs + covers with Kasane Ted (usually UTAU, but theres a hint of synthv in one cover)! id love for more ppl to give their works a chance <3

In all seriousness, it is goddamn IMPRESSIVE what this producer has done with a voicebank made from chopped-up Twitch clips. And judging from the stuff in the sidebar, it seems like there's been a mini-revival of Jinriki UTAU based on caseoh's voice. I'm all for it. Proves that you don't have to rely on AI to live your Comfort Figure Idol Dreams.

Reccer’s Note: I ran into this song like, the day before yesterday and it instantly became an earworm and I can't stop listening to it! The MV also has a cool aesthetic, it's got references to some other vsynth songs, and the producer got a lot of artists to participate in it! And though this uses SynthV Teto for a vast majority of it, I'm pretty sure it uses UTAU Teto in one part too which was a really cool touch! Overall a really awesome job from everyone involved! I had never heard of the song this is a tribute to ('Song of the Eared Robot') before, so it also introduced me to a pretty neat older song!

Creator's Note: this is from the days when i was still super into vsynths and tuning and everything before i shifted interests and kinda distanced even more from everything vsynth. this song kinda feels like my sendoff for my intense fan years even though i did one more cover after this one on the same account. i've since picked up vsynths again and have messed with openutau on linux and posted some of those results on a new soundcloud account of mine but i don't think i'll ever reach the same level of intense passion and love for vsynths like i used to. still, i'm incredibly proud of this cover, 5 years later, and i love to share it when i get a chance. thank you to

Reccer’s Note: I think this song is very sweet! It has a nice catchy tune and a very relaxed upbeat energy! The use of background vocals as well as the occasional asynchronous main vocals add a cool element to it as well.
